Website and service terms
Information for customers in the Republic of Ireland. Your statutory rights are not reduced by these terms.
Enquiries and agreements
Using this website, a quote form or an AI assistant does not itself place an order, reserve an appointment or create an obligation to pay. Work proceeds only after the scope, legal trader, price, timing, payment arrangements and applicable terms have been agreed directly. A written quotation and contract confirmation should be supplied in a durable form, such as email or paper.
Prices and changes
Any online or AI estimate is indicative until a property assessment and written quotation. Consumer quotations must state the total including applicable VAT and unavoidable charges, or explain how the price is calculated where it cannot reasonably be fixed. Extra work, material changes and additional charges require your agreement in advance. There are no preselected paid extras. Deposits and staged payments must be explained before agreement.
Standards and remedies
Services must meet the agreed description and the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2022, including reasonable care and skill. Where a service fails to conform, you retain the remedies provided by law, including correction, price reduction or termination where the statutory conditions apply. Any commercial warranty is additional to, and does not replace, those rights. No wording here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Cancellation
Applicable cooling-off rights, early-start requests and refunds are explained on our cancellation page. There is no automatic blanket 25% cancellation charge. Outside a statutory cancellation entitlement, any proposed charge must be lawful, fair, explained in advance and reflect properly evidenced loss with reasonable steps taken to reduce it.
Access, timing and safety
Attendance depends on the agreed appointment, safe access, weather and availability. We will communicate material changes. An enquiry does not guarantee emergency attendance. Do not climb onto roofs or attempt hazardous work on the basis of website or AI advice. For immediate danger call 112 or 999.
AI and website information
AI is used to assist with enquiries and may make mistakes. A human must confirm quotations, bookings, technical recommendations, warranties and work instructions. The AI is not an emergency service, engineer or legal adviser. Website images may be illustrative; request evidence relevant to your proposed job.
